Evergreen Life Advisors ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the rights you have regarding your personal information.

This policy applies to information collected through our website at evergreenlifeadvisors.com and through related communications (phone, email, text messages, and forms).

By using our website or submitting your information through our quote request form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you request a quote or contact us, we may collect:

  • Age or date of birth
  • Desired coverage amount
  • State of residence
  • Health-related information you voluntarily provide during the quote process
  • Any additional information you choose to share with us

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location

  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website
  • Date and time of visit

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from insurance carriers, lead generation partners, or other service providers when you have given consent for that information to be shared with us.

  • Connect you with appropriate insurance carriers and underwriters
  • Communicate with you about your inquiry or policy options
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support

4. Health and Lifestyle Information

If you choose to submit a Detailed Quote request, we collect additional health and lifestyle information including:

  • Height and weight
  • Tobacco or nicotine use
  • Pre-existing medical conditions (optional)
  • Current medications (optional)
  • Hospitalizations and surgical history (optional)
  • High-risk hobbies, occupations, or travel patterns (optional)

Voluntary submission. Providing health and lifestyle information is entirely voluntary. You may also use our Quick Quote form, which does not collect this information.

Confidentiality. Health information you provide is kept confidential and is used only to provide you with personalized quotes from licensed insurance carriers. We do not sell, rent, or share your health information for marketing purposes.

How this information is shared. To generate accurate quotes, your health and lifestyle information may be shared with insurance carriers and their underwriters as part of the quoting and underwriting process. This sharing is necessary to provide you with the personalized quotes you've requested.

Express consent required. Before submitting the Detailed Quote form, you are presented with a separate Health Information Consent checkbox. You must affirmatively check this box to acknowledge that you understand how your health information will be used and shared.

Security. Health information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections and stored in our customer relationship management system, accessible only to authorized Evergreen Life Advisors personnel and the insurance carriers receiving your quote request.

Note on HIPAA. Evergreen Life Advisors is not a "covered entity" under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). However, we treat health information you share with us with the same care, applying reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Information shared with insurance carriers may become subject to those carriers' own privacy frameworks, which may include HIPAA-equivalent protections.

State-specific rights. Residents of certain states (including California, Washington, Connecticut, Virginia, and others) may have additional rights regarding health information under state law. See Section 10 below or contact us for details.

Withdrawal. You may withdraw consent and request deletion of health information you have shared at any time by contacting us at armand@evergreenlifeadvisors.com. We will honor this request subject to legal recordkeeping requirements.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

5.1 Insurance Carriers and Underwriters

To provide quotes and recommendations, we share your information with insurance carriers and their underwriters. Each carrier has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.

5.2 Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business, including:

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): GoHighLevel — for managing leads and communications
  • Website Hosting: Netlify — for hosting our website
  • Email Delivery: Service providers used by our CRM to deliver emails
  • Analytics: Tools that help us understand website usage

These service providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process (such as subpoenas or court orders), or when necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

5.4 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.

6. Communications and Consent (TCPA)

When you submit your information through our quote request form, you are presented with an explicit consent checkbox containing the following language:

"By clicking 'Yes, I accept,' I agree to receive marketing, transactional, and informational messages from Evergreen Life Advisors and its partners about Insurance. These messages may include text, calls, or prerecorded/artificial voice messages, sent via phone system, CRM, or ATDS. I confirm I'm using the number I own and provided, and I can unsubscribe anytime by replying 'STOP' to any text message. This consent applies even if I'm on any Do Not Call list. I am at least 18 years old and have read the Privacy Policy. Msg & data rates may apply."

By checking this box and submitting the form, you provide your express written consent (as defined under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227) to be contacted by Evergreen Life Advisors and its insurance carrier partners by:

  • Telephone calls (including pre-recorded, artificial-voice, or autodialed calls placed using an Automatic Telephone Dialing System or ATDS)
  • Text messages (SMS), including those sent through automated systems
  • Email

at the phone number and email address you provide, regardless of whether your number appears on any federal or state Do Not Call list, internal company Do Not Call lists, or wireless designations.

Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. Standard message and data rates may apply for text messages. Message frequency varies.

You may opt out of communications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any text message you receive
  • Replying HELP to any text message for assistance
  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in any email
  • Asking the caller to remove you from the call list during any phone call

We maintain records of all consents, including the date, time, IP address, and exact disclosure language presented at the time of consent, in accordance with TCPA recordkeeping requirements.

6.1 SMS Terms & Conditions

By providing your phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to the following SMS terms:

  • Program Description: Evergreen Life Advisors uses SMS to deliver quote follow-ups, appointment confirmations, policy reminders, important policy-related notices, and occasional marketing about insurance products.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us. You may receive up to several messages per week, depending on your activity and the stage of your quote process.
  • Pricing: Standard message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for our SMS service, but your wireless carrier may charge you for messages received.
  • Opt Out: Reply STOP to any text message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any text message for assistance, or contact us at armand@evergreenlifeadvisors.com.
  • Carrier Support: Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most other U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with carriers and underwriters for the purpose of providing quotes is described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience, gather analytics about how the site is used, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

7.1 Consent

When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Essential cookies required for the site to function are always loaded. Non-essential cookies (including advertising and analytics cookies described below) are only loaded after you actively click "Accept All."

7.2 Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)

Our website uses the Meta Pixel, an analytics and advertising tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook). The Meta Pixel is a small piece of code that:

  • Tracks page views on our website
  • Records when you submit one of our quote request forms (as a "Lead" conversion event)
  • Helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
  • Allows us to show relevant ads to website visitors on Facebook, Instagram, and partner networks
  • Enables us to build "lookalike" audiences of people similar to our visitors for advertising purposes

The Meta Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Meta. When loaded, it may collect data such as the pages you visit, your IP address, browser information, device type, and actions you take on our site. This information is shared with Meta in accordance with their privacy policies.

How to opt out:

  • Click "Decline" on our cookie consent banner
  • Clear your cookies and re-visit our site, then choose "Decline"

  • Enable browser tracking protection features

7.3 Other Tracking

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some functionality of the website. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access controls, and secure data storage with our service providers.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations (including insurance recordkeeping requirements, which may be 5-10 years or longer depending on state law), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your information at any time, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Right to Correct: Request that we correct inaccurate information
  • Right to Delete: Request that we delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights

11. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
